We love you too, Joseph, and are very glad that coming here has helped you tell your mum and all the people around you. Once you've said you're gay, once you're proud you're gay (and there's a lot for you to be proud of, young man ) then it does become easier.
I'm hoping to meet you some day too. I think it'll be easier for Marshlander and me to come to Newcastle than for Frank to cross the ocean and see you... Just a thought. Maybe I'm wrong about Frank coming.

I've been a member of a few forums before I was out, and once I came out, I realized I needed support from the gay community (something of a deficit in my area, no LGBT centers or outreach), so I googled "gay forum", and this came up. I stayed because I made friends, now I stay because I realize I'm not the only one that needs support, and I can give some. Not a lot, since I'm selfish, but some.
