I know this OP looks like a troll, but speaking from experience, all the transgender people I know who actually did it, and I know several, are all messed up in the head. They have lost of issues and baggage that have nothing to do with their identity. They should require counseling for that instead of the sex change thing.

Personally I have nothing against gay people and some type of civil union. You should know that some of the best people I've known personally are gay. But I don't care much for the gay marriage topic. I think they should call it something else, but that's just me.

Yes you do have something against gay people, you want to deny them a right that straight people take for granted. Separate but equal ring any bells?

If it means anything, I don't think the OP is actually transgendered at all. I honestly think they just picked a random thing. Like you say, the baggage doesn't necessarily have anything to do with their identity, so why require them to have counseling over anyone else?

Why is that? The OP has only made two posts on the entire forum, both of which are almost a month old, and nothing else. OP only came here to stir up shit, and I'm not even addressing my opinion on the topic in the OP specifically for that reason.

It makes no difference if it's same sex marriage or straight marriage .
The whole concept of legal marriage is just a fad.

If it were not for church doctrine that is recognized by the state , the idea of marriage would have faded away long ago , I have some friends that have never gone through the ceremony.

Seriously a piece of paper and a ring does not make for an eternal happy couple.
It makes for a legal binding contract ,recognized by state but not a happy one.
