What was your Favourite Movie when you were a child?

I still blame my parents for not introducing Totoro to the young me. Given the emotional effect it has on me NOW, added nostalgic value would be... pretty intense. And wonderful c:

I remember loving a Disney movie called "The Rescuers." Then shortly after that Star Wars came out and the mice were history.

My favorite movie as a kid, I kid you not, was Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein. I remember seeing it at age five and loving it. I had a huge thing for the Universal monsters (as well as Toho kaiju films) and still do - I still watch that movie every year at Halloween! It's still silly fun.

I loved all the Disney Renaissance films (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lion King) as well as watching the classic ones with my mom (she and I used to love watching Cinderella together).

But I also really enjoyed it when she would rent these Chuck Jones, er, not films, tv specials? from thev video store - The White Seal, Riki Tiki Tavi, The Jungle Book (Chuck's version, not the Disney one) and loving those too.

Thanks, you made me think of the land before time, me and my sister loved it and must of watched 50 times, also the lion king, but i was a bit of an older kid by then:-)

My sisters and I used to watch the land before time. I bought the DVDs for my nephews.
