Hello all i just wanted to share this with everybody, as a way of saying thank all of you for the words of wisdom and advice i have received on this forum. So i have come out to some very close friends. One of those friends is a co-worker, we are partners on ambulance service and spend 24 hours together at any given shift. Well she is getting married here in about a week and invited me to her bachelorette party. I immediately accepted and was thrilled she asked me to go. Well she also encouraged me to just be myself when we went out. It was the nicest feeling to be able to go out with the girls and just be me, without hiding who i am. Nobody gave me trouble or harassed me. There were some people that congratulated the bachelorette and introduced themselves to the rest of the party, and when they got to me they said, "and you must be the gay friend", i just smiled and said "yes i am". Its getting easier. Thanks again everybody
