I feel like im gonna puke.
To be honest - I am baffled as to why a 16 year old is doing a job like that. How must the older person feel? I did not know people so young could do a job like that....I mean at 16 you surely are not ready to be doing something THAT personal and in depth?

Not to be insulting but...if you are going to go and post a thread like this following what you have done...it shows you have not been educated on the meaning of and reasons for confidentiality, therefore you are not ready for that job. It may be your opinion, but as responsible adults we learn to know what is right to share and what is not. And I know this is not the case, but responsible adults are the ONLY kind of people who should be in this kind of job.

You could find yourself in DEEP trouble if you were to be found out for talking like that about a patient.

"I know you guys are looking at this post in the ''hospital worker'' way; don't"

But you ARE a hospital worker. And the rules you follow when at work apply EVERYWHERE in your life. This being said - you are 16! And I am actually shocked that someone so young is doing this job... are you educated in this field? Because if so, you should know not to do what you have done - but it is the responsibility of your employer and your educational establishments to educate you on this.

I know people are wanting to stop this thread but I really wanted to reply as this is a subject close to my heart - I have done similar work; very personal, intimate care work with people with disabilities and I have glanced over many of the replies in this thread and one point seems to have been missed, unless I have missed someone saying it...

The point I feel is missed, I have made above.

Thanks for your valuable input. I recognised the repetition but felt a valid point had been missed as I clearly stated.

Continuously and repetitively berating a 16yo intern (read as: gaining experience) about his perception of his learning field is still beating a dead horse. Rumble88 has acknowledged (more than once) that he was out of line, and that he understands the importance of discretion.

I could, if I chose to, play the Devil's Advocate a little to drag this thread out some more.

COMMENCE SARCASM

"OmG, Rumble88, next time you should like totally tell the lady with the ugly cootchie how gross it looks to her face. Then take pictures of it and put it on hotornot with her full name, age, weight, and address just for shits."

Holy high horse! I shan't be explaining again.
You might like to think before you shout your mouth off.

Thinking about what I'm going to say generally means I won't say anything. I guess I'll remain disappointedly curious which point you made (that you won't explain "again") that wasn't covered in the previous seven pages of the thread.

Oh my my my. You know, Rumble has come a long way, and even whilst this thread was at it's most heated point him and Roxy never fell out or were rude to eachother. Some of those posting seem to be though...

Counselor I respect you so very much but I stand to know that Eternal is allowed to voice his opinion. He has caused no harm in doing so at all. :/

Eternal, I enjoyed reading your thoughts on this. I did. Roxy (who is in hospital himself right now) pushed the point that people should have the freedom to speak their thoughts and feelings on this matter.

The point which I think you made (if I'm correct) was not made before btw. I think Rox mentioned it to me in person but didn't post it. So you're not repeating anyone.
