Sounds like your doing all the right things in your current situation. Your 17 and you have your whole life to come out when your ready :-)

Your English is very good, better than a lot of people I know haha. It is very typical when first expressing your gay love for a person to become "infatuated" with them. It will pass in time especially when you do meet some gay men who you can have some fun with. But make no mistake, be careful, because some men may take advantage of your not knowing your way around very well in the gay life and try and take advantage of you. Take it easy in the beginning and don't let lust get in the way of good sense.

Regarding your situation, just embrace your sexuality. If u happen to be inlove with a friend, just try to feel and think first if he is gay too. If he is your friend, you will soon find if he is too, but if you find out he is not, then dont make a move because friendship is at stake here. My present boyfriend is a past friend, he's in the closet and im so sure he was gay so I made the move. And now, were happily together for 3 years already.. Only the 2 of us know our true sexuality and relationship because being in a gay relationship is not quite liked by people in my country. Anyway, hope youll have a good time here

Yes, i have a friend (girl) who is my best friend. She had asked me many times if i'm gay but i've always said no. I'm waiting for something to tell her i'm gay. Also, i had a relationship with a guy and when we broke up he started telling to everyone else that we had been going out together. I have a brother, but is one year old.
My parents are divorced, i'm very close to my mum. I know that if i tell my parents i'm gay they will accept me but i don't want they to think that everytime i meet friends (boys) it's because i love them, i want to have friends (boys) too. It's normal to have friends both male and female. After all, you can't expect all boys to be gay too and to be potential boyfriends. I think it would be nice to be able to tell your mother soon... You don't have to have a boyfriend for it to be true that you feel gay. You are 17 but if you've known for a long time that you were not really interested in girls emotionally, then that's how it is. Instead of a novia, you'll have a novio... and your mother will get a yerno. lol.

Wow, i think your story is amazing. I can imagine that having a hidden-relationship (i don't know if that exists) has to be hard, but anyway it has to be magic too having a relationship with a past friend... Unfortunately, i know that my friend is not gay, or at least quite sure. We spend a lot of time together. Now less time than then because i don't want to love him more than i'm loving him now because i know i will get dissapointed. I'm distancing a little bit of him. I want to be friends but i want to stop loving him because it only hurts. I just need some time. Thank you

I thinking of telling my mum i'm gay the next year, when i'm 18. I feel completely gay, and i know that i will have to tell it to everyone someday. My father is a little bit homophobic but i don't care so much because he's very proud of me and he will love the same. But for the moment i have to meet some girls for keeping up the appareances...that sucks! Thank you, your spanish is quite good
