There is a quote: "A man is a prophet save in his own land." (yes,I know where it comes from) So maybe Miami is the same but your perception has changed. However, if you look closely, I know you will find the people who you were expecting to see. I am thankful that I was able to return to the PNW and watch Portland change from a Miami to a San Fransisco and even further. It has been exciting to watch. Maybe that is what needs to happen there, You will have to decide where you want to be then mold yourself to that place and join those who want it to change.
