I remember Shane & Angel but couldn't stand Shane.
I liked Bobby & Frank, and then later yrs I liked Tug and Laura.

The saddest scene that comes to mind is when Blake & Meg (?) watched the sunrise on the beach and she died in his arms (at least that's how I hazily remember it).

Its all it a bit hazy to me now, though i remember thinking shane was really "cool" all i remember is he had blonde hair? And died on his motorbike? Then came back as a ghost in one episode. Just had a thought, was mellissa george who played angel? Anyone know?

^^ Yep, Melissa George. She'll have a hissy fit if you remind her of it according to some interview, a few months ago, and her grumbling about it on twitter, or something.
I remember being a bit stunned when she turned up in Friends. She's had the lead in some other show, but I've not seen it. Who knew that she would go on to do alright for herself in the US ! A few others have made the leap too.
I wonder if any of todays Home & Away cast , will become US tv stars in the future ?

I don't remember Shane dying. I used to dip in and out of it (like I do with any soap), and that must've happened when I wasn't watching.
I'm pretty sure that Bobby came back after death too - her head came out of the fridge door, to Ailsa (who was seeing things, having a breakdown).
You just don't get ghosts in the fridge in the likes of Corrie or Emmerdale.
