Your type is "Straight" or "In The Closet"?

You need a new type.

I disagree. I like the guy because of his personality, not because I hope he is gay. That standard doesn't work for me. I am the type of person that falls for a personality first because sex is easy enough to come by if that's all a person wants.

Relationships are trickier. I cant help that I like the guy. If he is straight or in the closet that is an obvious barrier to a relationship, but I don't see how knowing that makes him less my type. It just makes him a straight or in the closet version of my type. Obviously that sucks, but I can't fix that, and I don't know him well enough to know if he is straight or in the closet. My only option is to ask him, and I don't know him that well so I doubt that's a smart move. Life before coming out was much easier in many ways.
