So all they did is test to see if the kid knew right from wrong?

I don't know this case. But when a ten year old takes up a gun and walks up and blows daddy's brains out, that kid has a very good reason to do so.

While the news bit didn't say anything more than this was a Neo-Nazi, I have to wonder if this kid wasn't abused by the 'father'.

Personally, I would hope that a judge hearing this sort of case would seek psychological assistance before criminal rehabilitation.

My gut tells me this kid was victimized and did what all victims want to do, end the abuse.

This sentence ruins his life, being sent to Juvy will not give him the medical treatment he needs. Few Prison/Jail situations actually do more than warehouse people.

Even if he wasn't abused, there is something wrong - very wrong with the mind/spirit/heart of this kid. Juvy won't fix that, if anything it will make things a lot worse on this kid.

Who leaves a gun somewhere a kid can get it?

Having said that, my dad let me play with his service issue 9mm and baton one time. (it wasn't loaded)

I remember a post on gayspeak where a mother defended her child and home with a hand gun. The situation turned out successful. Another post where a 12year old defended his house with a gun with success. I searched and could not find exactly these posts but How opinions can change.

I'm not sure, but are you implying that what this little boy did under extreme duress and twisted circumstances is the same thing as a mother defending her child or a fending off a home intruder?

If you teach violence, you will only get violence in return.

If you teach stupidity, you will only get stupidity in return.

If you teach compassion, you will only get compassion in return.

If you do not teach anything, you will only get nothing in return.

If you count twisted morals as an infiltrator, they are not so dissimilar.

^^

Could you define "infiltrator"? You're not using it in any way that I'd recognize the term, so I can't make sense out of what you said until you do.
