Not sure I'd classify the dudes in the OP as "daddies", although I'm hardly an expert on the nomenclature.
"Bears" seems more apt.

Good gracious man, did you know there are more cattle in Florida than there are in Texas?
Does this mean that you have moved back to the Sunshine State or are merely being seasonal? when I lived in (central) Florida half the town migrated to NC for the summer. I would not be surprised to see BBQ Sauce on cheesecake up there in the South. [Deus adjuvat.]
