8 cups mixed greens
preparation
Mix soy sauce, rice vinegar, 1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil, minced ginger, chili-garlic sauce, and 1/8 teaspoon sesame oil in small bowl. Add cilantro and stir to blend. Set dressing aside.
Rub 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil over each side of each rib-eye steak. Sprinkle steaks with salt, pepper, and toasted sesame seeds; press firmly to adhere. Heat 2 teaspoons vegetable oil in large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms; sauté until browned, about 8 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Transfer sautéed mushrooms to plate. Add 1 teaspoon vegetable oil and 1 teaspoon sesame oil to skillet; heat over medium-high heat. Add steaks; cook to desired doneness, 3 to 4 minutes per side for medium-rare. Transfer steaks to cutting board. Slice steaks. Toss mixed greens with dressing in large bowl; divide greens among plates. Top with steak slices and mushrooms and serve.

That's what it says on the recipe, I always improvise a bit......I use a few more seasonings etc. Also you may have to double the dressing...I don't remember

I don't like meat much so I wonder if it works with tofu.....? Will have to experiment

Bourbon Chicken

Ingredients
2 lbs boneless chicken breasts, cut into bite-size pieces
1 -2 tablespoon olive oil
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/4 teaspoon ginger
3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 cup apple juice
1/3 cup light brown sugar
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup soy sauce

Directions
Heat oil in a large skillet.
Add chicken pieces and cook until lightly browned.
Remove chicken.
Add remaining ingredients, heating over medium Heat until well mixed and dissolved.
Add chicken and bring to a hard boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.

Serve over bed of green salad, or rice, or noodles, or toast.

This is one of my favorite pies...

Buttermilk Pie

INGREDIENTS:
3 eggs
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups white sugar
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/8 tablespoon freshly grated nutmeg
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie crust

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees (175 degrees C).
2. Beat eggs until frothy; add butter, sugar and flour. Beat until smooth.
3. Stir in buttermilk, vanilla, lemon juice and nutmeg; pour into pie shell.
4. Bake for 40 to 60 minutes, or until center is firm.

RAMEN NOODLE PEANUT SAUCE
1/2 cup of smooth peanut butter
1/4 cocoanut milk
1/2 tbs of combal/Sichuan chili sauce with garlic
1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger
1 tbs of soy sauce
1 tbs of fresh lime juice
1/2 tbs of rice wine vinegar

Thermomix strawberry mousse

500g strawberries + 1 can condensed milk + 1 packet of cream + strawberry jelly + 50 g water

Mix everything in the Thermomix, put it in the fridge for a couple of hours and that's it!

Strawberry Fluff
(looks like barf, tastes like heaven)


INGREDIENTS:
2 (3 ounce) packages strawberry
flavored Jell-O®
1 (16 ounce) package cottage cheese
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped
topping, thawed
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple,
drained

DIRECTIONS:
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the gelatin mix, cottage cheese, whipped topping and pineapple. Mix together well, refrigerate until chilled and serve.

BUTTERED TOAST
1-2 slices of preferred bread
1-2 tbs of butter
directions: Insert bread into toaster(or oven if your poor and/or primitive) and brown to desired level
Then take butter and spread evenly on toast
