Seattle Area Meet & Greet
#11
For some perspective, Washington is something like 3600km/2200mi from where I am (South Carolina). The Big Country.

3600km is nothing! My school is about 100 away. So you just have to drive to my school. 36 times. Shut up I'm tired :c

It's a fine idea, Beau. Even though I'm in the area, it's not easy for me to get to Seattle. I suggest you pick a date you know will work for you and see if you get any takers. Then figure out a place. I'll try to make it work for me.

I'm still not sure of the venue. Gem, I know we were chatting about the Serpentarium in Monroe, but I just don't think there's much to do there after looking at the animals. It would be cool if we could find more of a, I don't know, maybe a park setting for a potluck or a restaurant/pub or something. I think something where we could sit and chat would be nice. Just my two cents.

Also this is a call out to more locals to chime in. I know you are out there. Get your voice heard now. Maybe we can find a place that would suit those of you who are still in the closet. I know privacy is important.

But in Australia our 'meet and greets' are actually tecnically termed with eloquent Australian vernacular as a 'Piss up' Smile

I don't see why there can't be other meet and greets. Why one an Aussie meet or an east coast meet?

logistics would be a nightmare over here. Aquarian is the closest to me and that is a 4 hour drive, then mum is another 10 hours after that...and thats without traversing half the length of the country Sad

Beau, I was joking about the reptile zoo! I just know it's cozy and warm (well, warm anyway).

A group of guys would go unnoticed at any coffee shop or pub in the Capital Hill neighborhood in Seattle. Gals are welcome too, of course, just haven't heard from you! If people are uncomfortable gathering in the city's known gay friendly neighborhood, there are plenty of other options. It's a bit chilly yet for a an outdoor potluck, for me at least.
