What book are you reading now?
I read about 6 books at the same time. The ones I'm concentrating on at the moment are 'Jesus of Nazareth' by Pope Benedict XVI, 'Religion for Atheists' by Alain de Botton and 'Growth into Manhood' by Alan Medinger. I've only just begun the first one, I'd thoroughly recommend the second but don't read the third - it's a Christian book about how to rid yourself of your homosexuality! (I started reading it because a friend recommended it. I'm continuing to read it because it's it's so ridiculous in places and makes me laugh!)

Toby Wrote:That's exactly what I'm reading right now. I read up to the beginning of Storm of Swords a few years ago and got distracted, I guess. With the popularity of the show and all I tried picking it back up but it's been too long to remember all those names. ALL THOSE NAMES!!!! I started over and am re-finishing the first book at the moment. They're so fun aren't they? Ya never know what's going to happen.

There's a crazy amount of names haha. I watched the 1st season before I read the book and that seemed to help me put faces to those names. It made it easier to remember who was who. I enjoy the series a lot and it's filled with so much drama! I get so attached to the characters too. I really need to finish up book 2. The series is full of surprises

Down and out in Paris and London by George Orwell. First Orwell book, very impressed by his writing style and the way he creates a way for the reader into the characters' minds.

New Irish Short Stories, edited by Joseph O'Connor. A good collection, discovering Irish writers for the first time.

Changeling by Yasmine Gaelnorn

Nice blend of romance and urban fantasy with a focus on the Fae of Arcadia...heady stuff...bit of a focus on the ladies romance wise, but enough male content to keep this gay boy interested.
