What book are you reading now?
Try Housekeeping in Old Virginia for a very interesting cookbook with a good dose of American history.

The recipes still work, and it's fascinating to learn how things were done before we had so many modern appliances and such.

Hearts in Atlantis by Stephen King

A very bittersweet book. I read this first around the time I was 14 years old and its funny how I look at it now with completely different eyes in my adult years. Quite a sad book really.

I finished "Into thin air" a few days ago, couldn't put it down!! yes that's how good it is...has to be one of my all time favorites! It describes the tragedy that actually unfolded atop the Himalaya in oh i think '96? Was also famously made into a documentary. Very very thrilling, recommended!Xyxthumbs

I'm reading "For Fukui's Sake" now. Next on my list: "Eiger Dreams: Ventures Among Men and Mountains" Biglaugh
