What book are you reading now?
" Keys to the Kingdom" a book about Michael Eisner's take over of the Disney company in the 1980's.

The most recent book I've read, and my favorite so far, is King Lear by Shakespeare.

The Stand, Stephen King.

I read it about 10 years ago and it's my favorite book of all time. I came across it in the bookstore and got it again. I've never re-read a book...until now.

The Stand is so cool. Minor epic in its approach.

I am presently reading Henry David Thoreau's Walden: or Life in the Woods

I'm not much of a King fan though I did love this one (and a couple of others which are oddly favorites of mine). And if you still love it so much then I'd highly recommend the Complete and Uncut edition as it adds so much depth to the characters. The ending was a bit WTF but not (IMO) unsatisfactory.

Having vision and concentration problems, so not really reading anything of length lately. I am trying to get past it all, though, because the public library used book sale is coming up in a couple of weeks and there will be thousands of book for sale from 25 cents to a dollar. It is a truly dangerous event for me. Since the attention span is short for now, I'll try some poetry.

A lot of my customers when I used to bartend called me Mother Abigail...they told me it was a compliment but I was NOT amused...

Then I read the book and saw the movie...and I "got it"...I understood the reference....
