One time I got out a movie called "city on fire" out from the video store. Good lord what a waste of my time.
It was just ridiculous. I really wish I hadn't watched it. I felt like it stole from me. It was worse than television movie. It felt like a a film by a really stoopid and uninspired film student.
The Men Who Stare At Goats - It had such a promising cast with George Clooney and Ewan McGreggor, but it turned out to be 2 hours of absolutely NOTHING.
The Lucky One - Nicholas Sparks book-to-movies are usually good, and the BOOK of The Lucky One is really good. But the movie is just bad. It leaves out a lot of critical elements from the book that make the plot work, so you're just left with some stuff that happens without much reason as to why. Plus, terrible casting choices aside from the main antagonist.
Because I'm a good friend, I agreed to accompany someone to see the flick "Hope Springs" and sat through two hours of watching Meryl Streep try to fellate Tommy Lee Jones against his will. And I don't even believe in a reward based afterlife.
