Theres a "furry" guy who goes to the club I go too. He wears what looks like a fox or wolf costume.
I saw another one last summer at the club, but I dont remember what costume he was in .

I watched one of those "in the life of" shows on PBS years ago that dealt with furries.
The show followed this one 20 something guy through a week of his life.
He went to furry conventions, furry parties, and had sex with the costume on.
He also explained his mentality on the subject, what he was feeling inside the costume, why he wore it, and all that.

It was a pretty fascinating documentary.


Basically, its a fetish. Just like wearing leather, stilettos, silk undies, hoods, chains, spandex, or edible undies.

Personally, I wouldnt mind it, except the sex wouldnt be happening in that thing. Too much of a clean freak.

I've been looking at interviews on YT with furries (looking for the sexual fetishists which I believe are being referred to specifically in this thread as opposed to the general furry fandom) but I've found them unhelpful, either very superficial (like a reporter who asked questions about the weather because the furries at convention were in costume and couldn't speak so they had to pantomime), or not say much of anything with lots of "um, um....yeah, well...um..." And I had to sit through commercials, too.

If anyone wants to try then good luck, maybe you'll have better luck than me. I'll try again later, I've saved one vid to look at later (not in the mood to sit through another ad) that might touch on it.
