Awesome movies you never heard of

In watching "low budget" style movies over the years, Ive discovered that just because an ass load of money was dumped into a movie, doesnt make it a good movie.....or even a great one.

Some "B" and even "C" movies have been better made with a lot less money thrown into it.


Here are a couple of low budget movies that I have place in my "Fucking Awesome" category of movies:

I always liked Pieces of April, although that's not very "underground".

I watch loads of really weird movied but few of them are any good. Santa Sangre was great though and I've never met anyone who's even heard of that o:

peter jackson's first movie. it was made on pretty much no budget at all , and is pretty much terrible . but it's awesome hahah

If you like creepy, slightly gross movies with a surprise ending...
then this movie is great....

I like independent movies, and this one is one of my faves. The name is "The Mountain Thief", directed by Gerry Balasta, a guy from the Philippines that I met in NYC. He was making this movie for a festival while he was studying at NYU, and actually went back home to film it. I totally recommend it.
