Pick up lines.

L. Give them a phoney phone number
M. If you want to talk, say so...dont insult me with stupid pick up lines

if i find the clip , i'll post it . jimmy carr did a joke about how to turn a pick up line around when you're in the middle of using one and know it's not going to work

like

Pick-up lines are silly and I'd never use them myself. However they're often ridiculous enough to be kind of charming. When someone uses them I can't really help but smile since I think "Who in their right mind uses these things? o.O".

Personally, I find them offensive.
I would never consider speaking to anyone who gave me a cheesy pick up line.

But seriously, pick up lines are hilarious, when it is not used to strangers. It'll be definitely sound cheesy, but yeah maybe some will melt you LOL.

This one I overheard when I was queuing in a restaurant

"So sir, do you want your tea sweetened?"
"No, I have my sugar right here" (looks at his girlfriend and smiles)
