I'm 37 and I've never had a boyfriend, is there still hope?

warning:
relationships are a lot of work. They are prone to failure and complications. May require personal sacrifice and up root your live.

the start:
you have to want to be in one real bad. Start by showing love for your self.

good or bad in life if you want something bad enough you usually get it. Be patient and flexible.

Your subject just tempted me to read and respond. I'm 38, sexually confused for 36 years thinking I was bi and almost wanted to date some girls I had "feelings" for (hoping to adapt to the "norm"?), but every time something just pulled me back, which I now knew was my true sexuality (luckily indeed!). Came out to myself two years ago and decided to start looking for my first love in life. Feeling skeptical and regretful however, that I did not "wake up" earlier and had wasted so much time in my life which could have made my life more memorable and "flavoured" with love. My age is worrying me and I feel like I'm stuck in the grey zone now... Too old for younger guys I find attractive, and most guys around my age seem taken, and what's left aren't right for me. I'm losing hope... and starting to take it easy and prepare myself for the worst. However, I'm lucky enough to still have family I'm closed with, nephews and nieces I love, and a bunch of friends that still enjoy my company as much as I enjoy theirs.

Perhaps there are many other sources of happiness in life besides romance, although having that special someone can add more spices to life. Love yourself more and by carrying the positive energy in you, you can attract more friends or people to come to you and bring you joy. Cheer up and be optimistic! Smile

Sounds like U need to get out there and meet more Gay Men.

R U saying nobody ever comes on to U? Perhaps U should find a location where more Gay Men traffic.

Have U tried any Gay Health Clubs?

It always worked 4 me.

I have a differente approach ... society teach us that the only way to be complete is in a relationship or having love (romantic love).

Thats false ... you can be absolutely complete, happy and fulfill by your own ... and the moment you realize that u will start loving ur self and others will notice that ... then ... opportunities will come ...

start accepting and enjoying ur single life ... Wink

By the way, remember there is different kind of love ... from your family, friends, etc ...
