Feminism and hatred towards feminism
KawaiiKitty Wrote:wow wait you tell me Im conceited yet you go on to brag about how many cars and houses and whatever else you have?

For you it's bragging... for me it's just one example out of many other points... is that the only stuff you got. And well who was talking about having class? And you do come off as conceit... having stuff and just mention one or two of them isn't being conceit and cannot be compared. But hey it might be just one of your logical comparisons.

Quote:hey pot have you met kettle?
Hey judgemental kitty have you met class and intelligence, two things that you believe to have, although i'd definitely love to know what you define as class... does your statement above sounds classy... and yes I just replied Tic tac to yours so don't come ask me the same question. Find your own Smile

Quote:These are my opinions and my opinions alone.
Why do you make it sound it's not just an option but a way to be.

Quote:I am more than entitled to them.
You sure are and yet you'll never go to the extend to learn more about other people's philosophy on life... which it is entitle to them too.

Quote:I never said that someone should refrain from engaging in promiscuous sex or an open relationship.
Of course you never said it... but you wrote it... spoken words fly away, written words stay.

Quote:Its really not an assumption to say that someone has little self respect if they willingly allow their partner to fool around outside of their relationship. It really screams of desperation honestly. I mean how desperate does a person have to be to try and keep another person in a relationship that they clearly don't want to be in exclusively to the point that they would let the other person fool around with other people? I mean its pretty clear cut. Either you want to be in a relationship with someone or you dont. I really dont buy that its for "spicing up the relationship" either. There are tons of other ways of spicing up a relationship with out resorting to that.

Now I know you may not have the skills to properly analyses what you just said but read yourself back again and again and go ahead tell me that you didn't write it... those were words not mine

Quote:I merely stated that I think less of people who do engage in such and that I think they are lying to themselves to soothe the fact that they are cheating.
Merely? There's about 6 or 7 post of you savagely defending your points and calling them cheater just like you did right now... oh and at some point you even push to the point of calling them stupid... all that because you don't agree with there lifestyle.

Quote:Its about decency and showing just ALITTLE self restraint. We are not animals out in the woods trying to mate with everything on two legs. We are supposed to be a civilized society who can and should show alittle self restraint.
Is that merely to you... really CutieKitty!!!

Quote:Again that is my opinion on the matter.
Again I have nothing about people stating their opinion... you certainly have the right to your opinion but do you really have to go to the extent for brimming people's other opinion so yours can get some stars? Now that we've got your opinion, how about you get out and go seek for the facts? Unless you don;t want to find out and prefer to keep on going and state your opinion and make them look as if they were the only right way to be.

Quote:Plus the more partners you have the more likelihood of you catching something even by accident increases. If you're bed hopping every night I view it as someone who basically doesn't have any self respect, so why should I respect them? If you dont have enough self respect to find a good decent lasting relationship and enjoy sex within the confines of that relationship then again why should anyone else respect you?
Should you go get the fact on this? Do you believe that everyone who sleeps around doesn't know how to protect themselves? Where were you during the large campaign of sensibilisation for AIDS and other STD's

Quote:You are more than entitled to your opinion on the matter.
I know that but unlike you little buddy I don;t just bring opinions I bring experience in the subject matter... and the proof that not everyone consider's it unclassy, cheating or dumb. And if I had time I'd bring the numbers too just so you can see how wrong you are.

Quote:I can amicably agree to disagree if our opinions dont see eye to eye.
So far Cutiekitty I didn't feel anything being much friendly in your way of treating the subject, you have been judgemental, rude, name calling... if that's what you call a friendly way of disagreeing I surely don't want to see your "not so friendly way".

Quote:But Ill be damned if Im going to be attacked just for my opinion.
Cry me a river CutieKitty, or perhaps an ocean... you're just getting back the tone you have been using and well you're getting back your own medicine. How does it taste?

Quote:Just because someone stands up for alittle moral decency and standards doesnt make them full of themselves.
Isn't that being a bit judgemental... so to you it's moral decency and standards? Really who have set the standards CutieKitty? God? You? The Craptolic church...

Quote:You Thats all this has ever been. Its not like my opinion can physically reach out and separate people from having promiscuous sex.
No but your opinion and failure to go further and search for more information instead of trying to convince everyone that their ways aren't the standard or morally acceptable do piss them off... and I'm sure one who don't believe that telling someone that they are cheater, liar, and all those nice things you said above will ever makes your opinion change... get with your time... the standard you know was once not a standard... the standard you know comes from a very old, but very old method the church had found to get more money by taxing people for their misconduct and obviously they were buying their way to the promised land or the cheese cuter.

KawaiiKitty Wrote:isnt it enough that they both destroy lives and families? How much more justification do you need to not do something that is detrimental not only to you but those around you? Again like I said its just an excuse, a sublimation, of behavior to condone and otherwise taboo situation.

I havent even touched on how promiscuous sex makes the gay community look to the outside world, especially heterosexual people. The majority of gays want to project an image of normalcy and show the world that we can have lasting committed relationships again for the sake of normalcy. Having promiscuous sex tarnishes that reputation. They hold it up as a reason to keep gay people oppressed.

Majority of gays = what the number... where did you get that, where's your source?
Having promiscuous sex tarnishes that reputation = and you stand in everyone's bedroom to have this gross conclusion?

Quote: Heterosexual people point to the person having promiscuous sex and say, "oh look theyre having sex with any number of partners. They must not be able to control themselves and their sex drive"

Pure BALDERDASH CutieKitty... are you familiar with "Swinger clubs" if you're not you'd be amazed how many of your "decent heterosexual" are into those... and they're not the most obvious club either... a friend of mine operates one in Toronto.. a city of 4 million inhabitants and last year he recorded 600 couples attending... now this is just Toronto, there's many other swinger club in all great cities from pretty much all developed and some less developed countries.

Quote:They hold it up as a reason to keep gay people oppressed
No that's certainly not the major one... the major one is that it doesn't matter to them how many partners one would have... to them "the unnatural act of two man loving and kissing and having sex together is just plain odd and disgusting. In fact I can tell you that many straight to envy gays for being much more liberals toward their sexuality.

And you believe that the straight are doing better?

I'm curious...suppose there was this guy, he was absolutely perfect. Kinda, faithful, good job, cared about the world and people was super charismatic and friendly had lots of good insight on life and was successful and happy and probably everything you would want from in a guy, he's at a point where he wants to date for a long term relationship, start settling down and all that adult stuff~

But he went through a period in life when he was single, not really interested in serious dating and just partied and had lots of sex, you know decided to live it up.

Does that mean anything good he could possibly be doing now no longer matters?

I never said that the straights are doing better. But they are the majority. They are the ones that we are trying to convince so earnestly that we are just like everyone else. They hold us to a double standard, Its not right nor is it fair but it is what it is. That is part of what gay people are trying to change.

Am I really supposed to be impressed by 600 couples, or 1200 people out of 4 million? Thats really not alot to compare the majority of straight people who DONT go to swingers clubs and have promiscuous sex. Also swingers are somewhat taboo to say the least. There are reasons for that which I shouldnt have to explain.

You never said it fine so what that means:

There's those who go to swinger clubs and those who doesn't and do it at home... is that better for you... swinger are taboo for you... not for them. If you know the reason go ahead explain them,... but leave your churchy goody two shoes explanation away... give me a real sociological/psychological reason... I know them but it seems that you know them too but I don;t want to read those standard you talk so much...

How do you know they are the majority? because you've seen some people commenting here about grindr or whatever? You should actually go outside and meet some people, you'd be surprised of the variety of people that are homosexual and do not go everywhere and fuck everything that moves and also possess a set of genitalia. Now I know you'll keep on being incoherent... but unlike you I have children to care about because myself and my indecent, cheating lying HUSBAND have a family to deal with it's nice reasoning with you... but honestly it's more of a monologue than statements... Kitty until you get a real view and real example of what you're stating... may I suggest you stay away from commenting on what you clearly have no idea, no experience and no understanding of it. CutieKitty... can you tell me how old is the earth? How many book there is in the Genesis? How do you call those books?

And try not to go on Google... try using your own brain... and yes more you reply more I'll respond... I'm so used to people like you I almost want to suggest it as an olympic discipline. But for now for me it's a game... you're a very nice toy to play with Smile

Low standard? Okay please list all the thing I accused you of being that I am... and we can go on rambling on that. And telling me that i'm low standards doesn't make you condescending? Are you going to keep on jumping the question I ask... so far you haven't come up with nothing valuable yet.

yes that was the first time I meant to be condescending. If people took what I said as condescending before then they took it the wrong way which is not really my problem. I even said something along the lines of most of what I say is meant to be matter of fact and not condescending.

And I really dont have to justify my opinions to you. I think Ive thoroughly explained nd re-explained my reasoning for why I think the way I do and for my opinions. If you cant comprehend that then I cant make it any more plain.
