Can i just ask on a basic level. Who do you think is basic muslim, do you think a basic muslim holds truer to there faith than extremist. I guess you would have to study the quaran.

I just wish this country wasnt breaking apart, people have reacted so strongly to this. Also in germany the country is split over muslim issues, where extremism was being taught in classrooms, after the countrys efforts to include islam.

I'd like to know if people who say that Islam is a race of extremists know muslims...
From what I know, Islam is a beautiful religion (with some point I personnaly find really disgusting though, like condamnation of gay people in religion or women conditions) with morally interesting points. It is not at all related with terrorism. Islam is just a pretext.

I highly doubt German schools teach muslim fundamentalism but maybe if you provide a source we can look it over. Also, you're not responding to your quote I keep bringing up. Seems like you're ignoring it.

i think when dfiant said that origanally, he used "race" as a noun, collective, and probably didnt think a lot about the implacations. When someone immediatley picked up on it. I felt at that moment to say what i have just repeated, followed by... so yes.. in the context dfiant meant "islam is a race of extremists" which in hindsight i wouldnt have said, simply because YES its offensive, and by my own very admission i didnt mean it as the words implied- do you see?

All I'm saying is you sometimes say things that are very offensive, then I point it out, you accuse me of taking it out of context and then say "but I meant it in this other way".

I'm partially to blame but it's important to think through the things you say too.

I didn't accuse you. You did take it out of context. It was only foolish of my saying it because the blindingly obviously way it could be taken out of context.

and you cant just generalise im being offensive, do you pick and choose what you listen too. Maybe im too honest with my own thoughts, not caring to offend or appease. I rather a conversation is a moving thing, not picking up of mis-used words, my defense of that led to the mis-used word being used against me, its quite ironic.
