Hi from South Africa

Hi All,
Well, what’s to say? Not much I’m afraid…

Bred & born in South Africa, lived out my younger days at the tail end of conservatism, & obviously went through the “changes,” my biggest claim to fame was that I was the first openly single gay man in SA to foster a boy teenager (14) through the welfare system.

I now have 2 grand-kids, boy @ 3 and Girl @ 2

We live in Johannesburg. Recently I bought them a house, and I live in the “granny cottage.”

Other than that, I am one of only 14 other’s in SA who has been allocated permanent accommodation at the only gay bush resort, (clothing optional, YAY )! here.

My holiday cottage is +- 120Km from home, and I go there +- every 2 weeks to “klets” (A colloquism for “chat-a-lot-about-nothing”

I have been un-attached for about 10 years but have had 2 LTR.
1 of 14 years & 1 of 2 years, both of my partners passed over, the first was cancer, and the second a heart attack. I’m well over that now, but have grown selfish about my freedom so am not actually scouting out the field / club / scene / you get my drift…

I don’t booz, smoke or do drugs. Never have. My interests are 4x4, (Landrover), Fishing, camping, (as in tents!) and generally “outdoorsing”. I still hanker after bikes though, (Spent much of my pre-20’s in and around the docks of Durban, biking to & from Jo’burg, some 600Km each way).

Did 2 years compulsory military service during 1974/5. At 16 & 17 YO had an absolutely stunning time.

Top / bottom: - Depends on who I’m together with. It’s a age based thing, the younger the more I like to bottom, the older the more I like to top…

Thanks to everyone, I really do appreciate your sentiments.

We don't have much in the way of discussion forums, mostly sex-seeks-sex type thingimebobs, which certainly don't giggle my antiquated hormones..

Please forgive my odd spelling and grammer, I'm actually Africkaans, as well as being technologically challenged.

(That means I think in a mixture of Dutch, German, French and a bit of Hottentot, then have to translate into the most insanely weird language cooked up on this pebble called earth, and I can't find my spell check on my tablet).

Besides, I'm old, so old, that, courtesy of my son when he was a piddly 15, kindly informed me that I've got caveman paintings under my armpits! (He is now 33 /2 / 4.... I forget).

I think I may have finally found a stand to throw my hat on
