I'm out tonigt,
It's Friday,
I'm free tonight,
It's my day.

The speakers,
The music,
The people,
It's bangin'.

The roar of the crowd,
I'm out, and I'm loud.

There's no way I'm hiding tonight,
I'll do what I want,
I'll fight the fight.
Even thought, in the morning,
I'll feel like shite.

You're leaving today.
Well, what can I say?
'I want you to stay'?

No, that would be wrong.
The wrong note,
In the wrong song.

I don't know why,
But saying goodbye
Feels like a needle
Stuck in my eye.
A scratchy pain,
A need to cry.

Losing you after two years,
I'm much sadder than I appear,
Why do you have to leave my dear?
Without you I'll surely disappear.

She picked up the cloth,
Did she, the old washer woman.
Into the water. A scrub, a drag.
Cleaning the things of the old hag.
Cleaning the soul,
Waving a flag.
Defeating deamons,
Fighting Evil,
Washing.
Winning.
As the stains left the cloth,
They did also leave her soul.

I love sitting and watching the coast,
Watching nature's beauty boast.
Looking out to the rough, dark sea,
There's no place I'd rather be.

The waves crash upon the shore,
Some crash a little before.
The rough white, against the grey,
A sight like this makes my day.

Nature is best left alone,
It flourishes when left alone,
It needs no help, no help to grow,
And yet look at what's on show.
