More for me Gurl, I love Music for the Music, not for the person/people who make it. True, I like and habe fav artists, but I do not dislike a song that's not by my fav artist, or if an artist did something bad.

Chris Brown can kiss my Clit for beating on Rihanna, but I just like some of his songs. Not to mention, Rihanna got her dopey-self back with him, so I don't feel any which way to Friday about that whole Ordeal. Don't condone or like it, but hey, the Music is bangin.

Sorry Meggy :/ .

The first two to come to my mind are...

1. A masterpiece. The original song was written and performed by Leonard Cohen

2. Ok, this is one of my favorite song from The Knife, maybe my favorite band, but also the cover is very very nice.

Simple Minds- Homosapien (original by Pete Shelley)

David Garrett- Kashmir (original by Led Zeppelin)

IMO- Remakes are difficult to pull off unless the artist adds something unique to their interpretation. I think that these are both examples of artists creating something slightly different from the original in unique and passionate ways.
