bisexuals?
#11
so it seems like a lot of people who might be considered bisexual still prefer to identify as gay ?

For me it's merely because I'm VERY predominantly into men. Also, being openly bisexual seems to cause a lot more attention; people ask loads of questions, some people get suspicious etc.

Honestly the whole 'bi-but-identify-as-gay-for-convenience' phenomenon is new to me, but unsurprising considering some of the misconceptions about ac/dc's.

"Oh you'll figure it out." No you fuckwit, I have figured it out.
"Bi people are sluts/promiscuous." A larger overall number of potential choices does not equate to more of those choices being made. Kindly suck a tailpipe, please.
"No one is really bi, just lying/confused." Brilliant, that one. So tell me, how have you figured out how to breathe? That seems to be a more fitting challenge for someone of your, um, mental faculties.

Aaaarrrrrg

I have a certain philosophy about most people (society in general).

Most people go through life "unconscious". Unconscious in the sense that they really don't THINK about where they stand on certain issues: work, family, politics, religion, or sex.

They simply, are. Or not. It's very "polarizing" if you get my drift. You're either the boss or the slave. The dad or the mom. A Republican or a Democrat. A Christian or an atheist. Gay or straight.

Most people leave no ROOM in their minds for ANY ambiguity. They can't handle it. It takes too much time to REFLECT and ask themselves, "what does this mean to me, and others...???"

Yeah, I call myself gay, because basically it describes how I'm living my life right now. But I DON'T FEEL GAY. I just feel like me.

I identified as bi when I was figureing things out. Sadly I am not and thus don't. I'm rather jeloious of bi people since they can truly enjoy the best of both worlds while I'm limited to men alone. So stop bragging you lucky people Tongue

That said. Labels are for boxes. I'm just a man that wants sex and relationships with a man. Nothing more...

Here we go, I'm about to piss a lot of people off now Wink

I don't believe in bisexuality, I don't believe it can exist.

I believe in monogamy and while I believe that a person can have an attraction to either gender at various times, it does not make them bisexual, it makes them human.

My ex identified as Bi in our 13 year relationship but he was a virgin when it came to the opposite sex, so he was homosexual and the bisexual label was just a convenient way of appealing to bigotry by saying 'I have a BF but I still like girls', but during our lives together before and during the relationship (We grew up 2 houses apart), he never showed any attraction or interest in women.

I considered myself Bi when I was in my teens. At the time being gay was considered a bad thing. (At least I thought it was bad due to my surroundings) Telling myself I was Bi meant I still liked girls even though I was checking out the men. Eventually the pendulum swung over to gay and I accepted the person I am today, which is gay.

Do I still like women? Yes, but strictly platonically. I have no sexual interest in sleeping with a woman. I still have "girl friends" but they are just friends who happen to be girls. I couldn't be intimate with any of them.

So basically all self-proclaimed bisexuals are your boyfriend? I see. I can't wait to find a boyfriend so I can take his behaviour and apply it to millions of other human beings! Offensive generalizations really are the way to go nowadays! So 2013 don't you think?
