I have some things of my fathers which are close to my heart. I wanted his wedding ring but it disappeared after he died. I have a piece of jewelry which I wear which is close to my heart too and I will never take the piece of jewerly off it means so much to me.

I have, and still wear around my neck, a gold chain my grandmother gave me as a child.

I have lots of stories I wrote when I was a child. That and an omnibus with all three books from the Lord of the Rings trilogy my grandmother gave me when I had just learned how to read. I remember sitting with it in my lap when I was like 6 and taking forever just to read one page because I couldn't go any faster <:

It gets easier to let things go as you get older. You realise that you can't take it with you so you just let things go.

I do the shirt thing. I have an old shirt from my 8th grade soccer team that I keep hanging in my closet. It's my favorite because of the memories attached to it.

I have a Blood Chit a friend of mine gave to me when I joined the Army, and a Flag that flew over my COP in Afghanistan, I will never let them go and never wash them.

Well I have my teddy ted, I was very creative at naming. my dad bought it when I was born. It went through alot, it's lim's, tail and blue hat where repeatedly sown back on. I have a blue CD/radio that all my aunts got me when I was ten.
There's one thing I wish I kept, my grandads little pocket tin that he stored his sweets in and he carried it around with him. When he died two years ago I never thought of it at the time and they gave his stuff to charity after relatives got things to remember him by.
