VNight2014 Wrote:My teddy bear. I've had since I was 2. one arm is flat cuz I carried it by that hand always. One eye is lopsided cuz it fell out and I let my sister (who was a bitch at the time, but mellowed out) hot glue the eye back in place. There's fur missing.

I actually remember when we went to Utah, my family and I (9 at the time) got ice cream. I brought Teddy (the bear's name. yes it's overly cliche) in with me. I helped carry ice cream back to the car. As we were driving away an employee, a very cute one now that I think of him, came running out waving his arms and in one hand was Teddy. I almost cried at the thought I could've forgotten him.

Teddy was a major piece of my life. I never had many friends until recently. He was my friend and comforter when no one else could be. I'm pretty sure I would've cracked by now if it for Teddy

aww. We have a little stuffed dog. The poor thing was chased through the city and then rescued from a terminal, when my little son left him on a tram. He spent a week at a mountain cabin all alone only with the staff of that cabin Rolleyes He also slept alone in a hospital for one night and did a lot of other adventurous things  And we always came back and rescued him
And yes, one of his paws is almost flat...

Thanks for making me smile.

I have lots of stories I wrote when I was a child. That and an omnibus with all three books from the Lord of the Rings trilogy my grandmother gave me when I had just learned how to read. I remember sitting with it in my lap when I was like 6 and taking forever just to read one page because I couldn't go any faster <:

It gets easier to let things go as you get older. You realise that you can't take it with you so you just let things go.

I do the shirt thing. I have an old shirt from my 8th grade soccer team that I keep hanging in my closet. It's my favorite because of the memories attached to it.

I have a Blood Chit a friend of mine gave to me when I joined the Army, and a Flag that flew over my COP in Afghanistan, I will never let them go and never wash them.

Well I have my teddy ted, I was very creative at naming. my dad bought it when I was born. It went through alot, it's lim's, tail and blue hat where repeatedly sown back on. I have a blue CD/radio that all my aunts got me when I was ten.
There's one thing I wish I kept, my grandads little pocket tin that he stored his sweets in and he carried it around with him. When he died two years ago I never thought of it at the time and they gave his stuff to charity after relatives got things to remember him by.
