I live in the UK, of course I carry an umbrella!
A telescopic umbrella that fits in my bag or an inside coat pocket.

What you need is one of these: http://www.senzumbrellas.com/en/tips-tricks/ http://www.indianexpress.com/news/now-st...s/1011363/

oops. O_o
what i meant to say was: I have this nice chinese folding umbrella, but it folds in a way that the inside of the fabric is on the outside when folded. It's quite sturdy, and it doesn't rust. The best umbrellas are of course, nice walking stick sized ones. Get one that has like a ring and then a tiny umbrella on top, those are good for storm winds.

I carry one in the car at all times, of course rain in South Carolina is unpredictable at best so that is usually where it is when I need it--in the car! Lolz
