Alright, just wondering what everyone's opinion on The Ruins is. I, personally, since I'm the son of a nurse am not grossed out by anything, thought it was pretty good, and the acting {for a scary movie} was impressive. I mean I doubt I could act as if a vine were crawling under my skin, then go crazy and decided that I had to skin myself to get all of it out.... Spoiler, there!

Hmm...this movie made quite the impression on you didn't it?Thing is I looked it up on Metacritic and the reviews are horrible!But if you can assure that this isnt' just another horror movie about Americans being slaughtered then I'll see it next week.

I saw it yesterday. I would be kind of interested to see what the book is like. I found that it wasn't a terrible movie, but it wasn't that great either. I always wish there was more explaination behind the weirdness than just saying 'its there and its scary'.
