Friend request

A short while back I received a request via GS, to be a friend although the sender didn't say why. Not wishing to appear unfriendly, I accepted and that's the last I have ever heard. Anyone else had a similar experience?

That happens a lot. I have no idea why people add other members as friends without EVER having talked to them but they do. I accept too because it doesn't really make a difference :p

For the newer generations: Some people treat internet friends lists like pokemon.

I sometimes get lot of Friend Request from people I do not know on Facebook . . . I think it is so weird ha ha

Yeah i got one when i first came to gs. I accepted, but wish i hadnt. Since then i got another one i didnt want and just ignored it, i felt a bit bad for a while, everytime i logged in, there it was... "freindship requested" i couldnt bring myself to deny it or accept it, i just left it hanging. There it was, everyday, reminding me of my "heartlessness" but i dont want my friend list being messed up. Some people here said ""it doesnt make a difference" but there speaking for themselves, obviously.

I only friend people who I've talked to and got on with in PM's, in the chat room, or in threads.
