Self-deleted accounts...

I deleted miiines...

I dug enough around the forums and I still can read my old posts from I think two or three years ago.

I left mainly cause I needed a break from the online world and def needed to sort myself out. It wasn't anyone in heres fault, sometimes being alone isn't such a bad thing.

I read my old posts and I'm like, "Who is that dude..?" I was so into a guy who will never be into me and he knew it and it took over my life.

Now, I can never even imagine having someone have such control or power over me.

So glad I came back.. ;D

I am curious, if you don't want to be online, then why not turn of the computer instead of deleting your account?

people get emotionally charged and when they get overcome they storm off, deleting their accounts in the process. many calm down and come back.

it's an off-putting aspect of a website that's suppose to be about community support and acceptance.

a know people who've deleted other website accounts in order to unplug for awhile and detox, like justbry... they do it because it can be addicting and deleting accounts ensure the much needed break. but the deleted accounts i've encountered here have been emotionally charged hissy fits.

I do the same thing with my other social networking sites like FB. When I need to focus on myself more, instead of just logging off I delete or take my account down for awhile. I take the app off my mobile and pretty much forget about it altogether.

Plus, it felt pretty wrong to keep posting here and trying to give advice when I myself wasn't in the right head space at that time..

I hope this makes some sense..?

I guess I understand deleting one's account to make it harder to keep coming back, but that hasn't stopped people from making new ones so I'm not sure I see the point...but if folks wanna delete themselves it's no skin off my dick.
