Magic the Gathering - do any of you play it?
#1
Either in real life or online? I thought I had made this topic before but from the little searching I did I found that I had not seemingly.

Im just getting back into the game after a 10+ year hiatus. I think Ice Age had came out alittle bit before I quit the game.

Anyways right now I have a pretty killer g/w populate/+1+1 counter deck and a b/r +1+1 counter/flying vampire deck.

Ive also played all the Duels of the Planeswalker games on Xbox Live arcade. The newest DotP I got for the PC.

So any other gamers out there?

Yo. I just started really, back when Innistrad was coming out. Currently though all people play in my school is EDH, so all of my decks are currently there.

I have a red/white humans/angels beat down deck, a blue/black control/spike, a mono-white artifact deck, and a black/white cleric tribal/life gain deck.

Good to see a fellow geek.

I tried it once with what I think was a deck made entirely out of spiders so it was way OP but it makes my head hurt....

So no, I'm not a gamer

Played it a little when I was younger, and wanted something a bit more "serious" than Pokemon or YuGiOh.

Used to have a tonne of TCG cards, but now all I've got left is a Mew card I won, a limited edition Pikachu, and all the Toon monsters from YuGiOh. No M:TG cards though, which is kind of depressing. I guess I never had anything rare enough to warrant keeping when I sold all my old cards.

Saw that you can play it online a little while ago, considering it. Would have to remember the rules all over again though - it's been so long I've got all the rules of all my card games mixed up in my noggin' Laugh

its not so bad online...the computer obviously wont let you do anything that it considers an illegal move which is nice. It keeps track of all your tokens and counters as well so you dont have to keep track of those. Its basically all automated.
