Everytime someone as bold as her, style-wise and behavior-wise, appears, they are shot down with close-mindedness.

I don't get why she's a whore but its really just a way of people saying they dont like her! I do not know one thing of any value she has made, its a load of hype without actually any real talent, she looks like a spoilt 15yo with big goggly eyes and annoying voice, who made some Mickey mouse crap once.

Seriously...this is a staple for these awards and the purpose of these antics is to get people talking about them and especially when they have very little talent. Madonna did it...so did Britney, Bette, Gaga and a long list of others.

I thought it was boring and I think we all have our priorities totally screwed up if we can watch every imaginable form of murder and abuse and rape and underhanded crap on a daily basis and call it entertainment but a breast is cause for alarm? Something is wrong....

Why is no one saying anything about Robin Thicke who sings a creepy song about disrespecting women and who is married, yet ground his crotch multiple times on Miley?

And I recall how many of the same moms who said 17-year-old Miley was setting a bad example by showing her abs and "using her sexuality" to get ahead while at the very same time openly drooling over a shirtless 17-year-old Taylor Lautner (plays Jacob in Twilight).

Oh, and speaking of Twilight...interesting how Stewart gets the shame and called a "Trampire" for her affair with her director but I didn't catch a single word said publicly on the director despite that he was several years older (and should thus have more impulse control), authority over her, and a family man (so while Stewart betrayed her boyfriend the director betrayed his wife and kids!). But it's all the woman's fault!

That, btw, is one of the reasons I think she's faking. In the footage they waste far too much smoke (not just Miley, everyone). I've been around stoners, and if anyone (even Miley) were to leave as much smoke in the bong as she did then it would be snatched by someone outraged at all that smoke going to waste to suck it in himself. They were just kids pretending to be hardcore rebels.

Oh, and I've smoked salvia in a bong before and been with others who made a habit of it (that and other drugs) so I was convinced she was totally faking her "trip" right after, too.

It's an act. Plus, she's silly and likes to tease people by shocking them, and I believe that's still true today.
