Why do so many gay guys appear vain?

yeah. This is our second year going, I mean my friends and I
like the outdoors/beach part of it more really, but we had our share of
crazy at the bars/clubs, lol

On the issue of vanity - I have no personality whatsoever. None, zero, not a trace. I am more bland than Severus Snape. I both cannot afford and have the time for the vanity I desire at this point in my life, but I have been acquiring the vanity slowly over time. I try to make myself good looking so hopefully one day a man might look past my banal, vanilla, nerdy personality and hopefully stand my presence for my looks. I just hope the testosterone will trick his brain into releasing some endorphins so I can have someone to love. I already know myself my personality isn't going to do it.

With that said, those of us who are not vain or who tires of S&M (stand and model) and the plastic clones left the scene and never go back. Thus its an issue of diminishing returns, those who are vain stay in the scene, those who are not leave, thus it appears that all/most gay men are vain....
