I wonder if most of these are relatable to most people, it's just people tend not to realise when other people are feeling/going through similar.

Recently,
I made plans to hang out with a friend
who was going to pick up her brother from work...
where I was only expecting to have to converse with him
and her boyfriend who also works there
(maybe say hi to a few coworkers too),
but ended up having to greet and make excessively long small talk
with essentially everyone who works at that Whole Foods location
while trying to act genuinely interested and smiley for almost two hours,
doing my best to hide any signs of distress or anxiety.


Needless to say, I was exhausted from then to deep into the next day.
