So to make a story short, there's this guy who pretty much
played with my feelings. He also hurt a close friend of mine by
breaking her and her g/f's 7 year relationship by sleeping with the
girlfriend and in turn the ex-g/f ended up moving in with him overseas
to the U.K.
Fast forward a couple of years. I became real close with the g/f that
got her heart broken up. We've pretty much helped each other up after
the whole thing, and are now better people. We consider the friendship
that came from it a blessing or a silver-lining, cause we probably wouldn't
be this close if it hadn't happen.
Anyways, here's the problem [sort of]. The ex-gf and the guy are back in the
U.S. for a Holiday I think.. And we all pretty much move around in similar
circles and scene. Me and my friend both know that running into them is
inevitable, the guy also tried adding me back again on FB [He already tried
adding/messaging me back several times already].
My friend says she'll be cordial and civil when she runs to her ex. I know with
her it can either go really bad or really good.
With me, it makes my skin crawl when I have to put up a face of plasticity,
although I can do it very well. I just don't like to do it. I already know for a
fact that once he see's me at an event, he'll go out of his way and talk to me.
He's done it before and he'll do it again.
What do you do if you know your going somewhere and you know for a
fact that you'll run into someone that you don't really want to deal with
but you have to..?
Maybe, I'll just take a couple shots of vodka and tell him off. He really
deserves it.. but I'm just too god damned nice.. Even [specially] when I'm
drunk.
