But aren't Russia and Romania on a heavy anti-gay stance?

Or maybe the capitals are a bit different...

I would like to visit Bucureşti , but I'm staying away from Moskva....

Yes, discrimination is still rampant in Russia in particular but ironically, Gay bars and places for LGBT are sprouting everywhere but in a discreet way. Not really harmful if you are not showy in public. I thought i should take it back, lol. Its just i find Russian men fine. In Bucharest, money boys are everywhere, that's what they say though. The key is being discreet as well so maybe im wrong because being discreet is not okay for some most especially on a "gay holiday".

I forgot some popular choices like Tel Aviv, San Francisco and Sydney..etc

Well, I've been to Ptown/Cape Cod and San Fran, but unfortunately
not the Castro. Sad.

The Cape/Ptown is pretty much a New England seaside town, but.. gay.
It has a bunch of bars and clubs that are either for LGBT or gay friendly.
They also have a bunch of cute shops and really nice resto's. I've had the
best Bloody Mary's at the Lobster Pot [I want one right now!]

When my friends and I go, we stay at this place called The Boatslip,
it's a gay owned and gay run resort. It's located in the middle of everything
pretty much and it's only a few steps away from the beach.

At one point I really wanted to travel to Europe and U.K. since I haven't
been yet. I know I'll probably end up going someday, but there's a few places
in Asia I'd live to visit first. Singapore, Thailand, Bali and of course back home
again to the Philippines ;]

..and you can also count South America too~

Would you consider it?
What do you think of them?

You, who likes hiking, don't have gay hiking associations in the UK?
Maybe you could find interesting things Wink

Saugatuck, MI

BTW, I've heart of Greater Sudbury. Is it in the Boreal Forest (subarctic coniferous forest) biome or does it just look that way in pictures?

I spent a couple weeks in Key West in my 20's. I was chasing girls at that point in my life (I'll always remember dancing with Victoria there. Mmmm, love her secret!), but definitely noticed some of the guys there, too! There are many gay owned resorts, inns, B&B's and bars there.

Palm Springs, California, is another gay resort mecca, but I have never been.

I would consider going to a gay resort destination, either with a group of buddies or a boyfriend. It's great to feel total acceptance in that kind of environment.

Gem,
That's why I have my own place at the only Gay bush retreat in SA, Voelkop.
Capetown is also very gay orentated, but Personally, I don't like being ripped off so I never go there:frown:

My BF and I plan to go to Bali as there are some nice gay resorts there. He was born in Indonesia and although a lot of the country is not gay friendly, Bali is the exception.
