What about the other 50,000 convicted under the same "gross indecency" act, who have received neither a pardon or apology ?

You have to admit Partis that Turing was and is an exceptional case.

Even if it is a "people pleaser" its not a bad thing, I think its more about the man and this is a gesture. If it makes more people know more about him then thats fine.

I agree Londoner now hes been pardoned he should be posthumously honoured in some way.
