Your opinions on best actors in a single movie/role?

I only listed Mark Hamill before, so I'll have to add in one more here. Christopher Lee has to be my favorite villain actor of all time. As an added bonus, he was a badass before he even became an actor. He definitely rocks the Saruman role in all of the LotR films.

Well, I think the absolute MASTERS of their crafts are a "given".......

Mark Hamill is awesome also. I had no idea he did the Joker voice in the animated Batman series, until I happened to notice the credits one day. I still cant believe that voice comes out of HIM!!!

I like Amanda Seyfried as well, she's already a brilliant actress from the get-go. I love her in "Chloe"

And how can I forget Silence of the Lambs! Anthony Hopkins and Jody Foster did terrific job there.

Mark Hamill also does the Joker's voice for every other animated form of the Joker out there these days. That includes the Arkham Asylum/City/Origins games for you video game fanatics out there. I mean... wow. His voice acting in those games was unbelievable. He was able to be the true Joker there, where he was held back in the animated series because of TV ratings.

Helen Mirren in The Cook, the Thief his Wife and her Lover is one of the most impressive roles I've seen.

Maria Falconetti from The Passion of Joan of Arc is amazing as well, even though it's a silent movie.
