South Africa could lose gay rights
#1
Now that Nelson Mandela the figurehead of equality has passed away.

Gay activist are worried that South Africa could follow the rest of the continent and ban gay rights where in Nigeria 'Jail All the Gays Bill’ faces delays before it becomes law.

The president in South Africa is a homophobe, he has said he will knock out a gay person standing next to him and also describing same-sex marriages as a disgrace to the nation and to God, and the Chief Justice believes gay people can be ‘cured'.

South African politicians are doing much worse to the country already...

it wouldn't be surprising at all, if you ask me...

we really need Duckie here or Spades to give an "on-the-ground" opinion of where this is going...

Thats very sad, although the president of Nigeria GOODLUCK JONATHAN is said to not be homophobic and hasn't put his signature to anything and may pass it on to human rights commission.
