It's simple enough... We take a series of random letters
and each one is the INITIAL of a word, thus forming an expression or a sentence... something with meaning.... (it goes with a theme)


for example:
osjlp¨(category: religion)
Outspoken
Souls
Justify
Loud
Praying

You are thinking of ANAGRAMS...(using the same letters as another word or expression) (made and dame for example)
and ACRONYM isn't actually the right word for this game... because an ACRONYM is a word that can be pronounced as a word, (not as single letters) but made from initials
