What Is Your Favorite Pizza?
#61
None. I don't eat pizzas. In my opinion they're junk food.

I don't eat products made with refined flour and you as a diabetic, shouldn't either (in spite of what your doctor says). Neither do I eat meat or dairy produce, so, to me they are junk food. Pizzas sold today bear little if any resemblance to the original Italian pizza.

There are whole grain bread recipes that can be made into pizza crust. Pizza crust does not have to be white flour.

My dr told me I can eat pizza, just not a lot. I usually dont eat the crust, except for a few pieces....I like scraping the toppings off of two or three pieces and putting them on one slice.

Although I do eat some meat pizzas, my fav's are usually all veggie, but with cheese.

Several people have complained about pizza not being "Italian", but nobody has ever given a recipe or photo of what an "Italian" pizza IS.

The link you provided does not work over here.....it comes up as a tax preparation website.

Sorry Tinks, I have no idea why the link does't work. You can see by the name that it was about pizza so it's really strange that it comes up as something completely different. Anyway, if you type "Authentic Neapolitan pizza recipe" in to your search engine you will find plenty. Here are a couple:

There are even videos:

As far as photos are concerned, even if these come from a restaurant in Chicago, they look OK

No, it's because it is the original, simple Italian recipe. The other European and American variants are a travesty of the original. As Lalo said:
