Cheers for the information Shadow there's both an LGF and a "gay centre" in Manchester which run various courses and social groups, so i'll have a look into them at some point.

Thanks for the invite Serfdom, I allways thought Huddersfield would be too small to have a thriving gay community but i'll check it out within the near future.
