I am really sorry that you are in this position ...and I have a "thing" about solutions so I hope you forgive me being pushy...
Here is a place that hires live in caregivers in San Mateo http://www.synergyhomecare.com/careers/?...ign=Indeed Perhaps you can secure a reference from someone in his family?..or someone else?...or just provide your time with this guy as your reference. Good Luck! I am pretty good at coming up with ideas if you need any more.

Left you a post on "grind my gears" about this.....
What happens now? Have the dipshits told you what they are going to do with the property or anything? I would suggest moving here, but I dont even know if I will have anyplace to live in a month or two.......

Granted they have the means to travel there, meebs. You're across the freaking country from both!
ugh.. so I know he gave you a hard time and this was a job. So more than being sorry for the death (I am for the negligence leading to his death, though) I am sorry for your situation. We saw this coming didn't we? *sigh* Take a look at the post by East, that is very useful I cannot offer you anything else than my sympathy.

I am sorry to hear about the death, especially because of what it must mean for you in terms of having to change your life.
I am a little upset to hear that his bed sore was left untreated and got gangrene, though I understand that healthcare is extremely overpriced and not free in your country, so I'm definitely thinking of the family and not you as I say this. I am very hopeful that you are able to find a place to stay and some sort of income. I wish I could help personally, and I hope that everything works out well for you in the end, I think you deserve this at least.

I'm very sorry to hear that, I wish I could do something to help but for now I'll just have to give you one of these

6. Have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance. That ain't ever going to happen again. I have uncontrolled and uncontrollable absence seizures. I also have grandmal and have been known to need 911 called due to status epilepticus. It was October 2012 when I had my last bout of status epilepticus, and it was at the ER room that they notified the State and the State yanked my license. Since then, I have tried the old 'lie through your teeth' routine with the doctor, but its really, really hard to convince them that you are not having seizures when you say it, but then your body ups and betrays the shit out of you by having a seizure right before the doctor's eyes. Therefore any job that requires a license (which is all of them) I am not eligible for. Trust me I have been looking at adverts trying to find that one special job where the client isn't insisting that I drive....

^^^Ahh...I had forgotten about that^^^
OK...try Craiglist and put it in all the areas offering to be a live on the property/orchard/garden caretaker...or maybe a handyman...a lot of times people that need housesitters have this available. Don't mention the transportation as they probably don't need you to have it anyway. I was just thinking...you may have already thought of this but just in case.... |
