Seems to me to be the same thing. I don't know why you're confused then.

I don't know if I'd call it the same thing...one is a significant anatomical difference whereas the other can be solved with hair dye.

Pix - that story made my night I swear! I can just picture the whole scene and it's going in my novel - I shall give you full credit of course Roflmao

It's more of a spiritual connection I feel - I couldn't have described it better myself Shannon!

What I do know is that when I fall for someone, regardless of gender, I fall hard. It's crazy really - I've been in love with a woman I can't have for years to the point I haven't been able to look at anyone else. I think I'm finally getting over that though... well kind of. I always say that and then I think about her or I talk to her and... here I go again...

I live in a 1+1=2 world of simplicity Pix. What i meant to say is that as a gay man I am satisfied by dick. As a straight man I would've been by a pussy. As a bisexual I would always lack one or the other.

The mind can only cope with that which it can relate to. I cannot relate to being attracted to both genders. It's really simple. Sadly, nothing you can say can make me understand.

It could be a gender thing. Generally speaking women don't compartmentalize love, sex, and romance as much as men do, and hence I don't get why it's confusing but a man would.

Thank you my friend. I just need to focus and not think of her (which is difficult because she's one of my closest friends), it's exactly as you described though - there's a spiritual connection there that was there from the moment we met. Even she can feel a connection and she's straight!

Cuddly - I wish I lived in your world, I do appreciate your not judging me and being open about your thoughts etc. on the matter - that means a lot so thank you Smile

Jaxx37 Wrote:Being bisexual is confusing, people expect you to choose one gender or the other and stick with that. What they don't realise is that it's not a choice, if it were God only knows how much that'd help me out. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with being bisexual - I find people attractive, sure I look at a guy or a girl and say 'they're hot' but when it comes to real attraction it's not about gender to me it's the whole package, personality is way more important. I'd say I'm more attracted to women than men but that doesn't mean I want to identify as lesbian - I could do without the labels at all to be honest because all I ever seem to get, even from close friends, who I know are kidding around most of the time, is this whole 'you're just being greedy', 'you're just confused', 'I don't know what you want' etc. and this makes it a heck of a lot harder to find 'the one', I guess many people who are bisexual really just don't want the stigma, the hassle of being seen as somehow more promiscuous, less reliable, bed hoppers who just can't take a relationship seriously, have no concept of love, only lust and would cheat on you before you could blink.

Sure there are some bisexuals out there who are promiscuous and as my above description but many are not. Most are probably more like me - genuinely looking for someone special to share their life with, someone who they can love completely and spend their life with. For many I fear it's simply safer to pick a gender to be attracted to and go from there since most people don't take you seriously otherwise.

I'm sorry you have to be treated and feel that way I really am , I wish gays and lesbian would treat bisexuals better .
Pix Wrote:I once fled a confrontation after I innocently asked the so-called lesbian why she hated bisexuals so much when she had more sex with guys than many straight women did (I was 19 and genuinely confused). Apparently many others were wondering they same thing because they started laughing, and laughed even harder when she lunged for me. I chose the better part of valor and ran (I did trip her when she almost caught me). Her attacking me was actually illuminating in of itself and now I laugh, too. Roflmao

I can tell you why because I saw this happen recently those so called lesbians are actually bisexual and dislike that about themselves so they take it out on other bi girls and some think their better than bisexual women just because they don't have emotional feelings for the opposite sex . There was this youtube video I was watching about what lesbians think of bisexual girls and only one lesbian was fine with dating bisexual women the others said mean things but one of the two girls said such nasty things that people wrote mean letters to her . Now her words were if you had d**k in your mouth that's nasty because I don't even like d**k and i'm not gonna date you sorry . Now a year later I came across another video where she was being interviewed with other lesbians about the video she was on . She admitted to having sex with men once a year even if she's in a relationship a bisexual woman asked why would you as a lesbian have sex with a gender your not even attracted to and she honestly couldn't answer , it was a big pause and a lot of ums then she said well everyone fluid right and I just wanted to see if I'm still gay .
I think the reason that woman lash out at you is because she is in denial about herself and she doesn't want anyone or herself to know the truth . I've come across a few lesbians like this and the first thing you notice is they are already to lash out when you question them or disagree with them and they will call other lesbian arrogant and judgmental or mean , or your discriminating against me like straight people do to you I think it's just a ploy just to get other lesbians to shut up . women like that are in deep denial . it's not you hun it's them that has the problem with themselves

My life is less complicated if i just say im gay. Even if i am bisexual. Some people have asked me why am i with a guy if i like girls too. So i just say im gay. Makes me happiest this way. Smile

I think this is why some people think there aren't monogamous bisexuals because they think they are either gay or straight which isn't true .
