breaking forum rule #4

I broke rule #4, I am heart broken over this because it was a good friend. I don't deserve that kind of friendship. I feel terrible about this and just wanted everyone to know I am not above the rules. I feel maybe parents were right I am defective. It's my fault, I caused it, everything that has happened to me, and I don't deserve friends who are as wonderful as the one I lost.

I do not know the details of what happened, but from what I know of you, James, the person in question must have done something really bad.

The fact that you are even ackowledging this publicly tells me how great person I have in front of me.

You are dealing with a lot, that much I know.

Don't be so harsh on yourself. Neither one of us is perfect by a long shot.

Yes don't claim to be perfect, just a man, but I should know better by now in my life, to do what I did, no defective, broken, not who I ever wanted to be.

But you are working on yourself now. That's what counts!

Take it one step at a time.

Again, the fact that you acknowledge publicly a mistake is proof you stand in a better place than you might think. It is certainly a mature action.

Perhaps when time passes the friendship can resume. You never know.

You are doing a brave thing by working on yourself. Focus on that for the moment. Focus on getting better. You need to.
