Well Caribbean people typically make the most out of any Holiday lol.
Here, tomorrow is our Good Friday Holiday, in which we play Marbles and Jacks, Fly Kites, go pon de beach, cook up local dishes in crazy abundance, Easter egg hunt and generally just vibe.
Our Gombeys(West African/Afro-Caribbean dancers) tend to come out in droves, as they typically so for holidays(and every other day lol)
A whole bunch of other stuff too, but those are like the standard things we do.
We're pretty festive most of the year.
(My Dominican Republic friend says Latin-Caribbean people are similar, but they are more into the cooking/music during holidays- where we don't make as big a deal of it)
"En Dominicana República , es Similar aquà(Bermudas), pero Diferente"
So she says in regards to our holiday. Lol
