Nativeson - I just watched all 10 episodes of Narcos , no spoilers but I really enjoyed it....you say fictional account but I thought it was as truth based as they could get ? I did Google many of the characters during the series and they all had actual links with Escobar , the guy who plays Escobar is a really good actor - he can play him as someone who is trying to better his country but also someone who is completely ruthless and sadistic just through his eyes

Oh, yeah. Haha. I had just read an unfavorable review by a Colombian blogger and it got me thinking... It is Hollywood. Liberties are taken.

Let's just call it 'based on a true story. I think that's more accurate a description. Wagner Moura is the actor who plays Pablo. He's awesome. I want to go out and see his hee-ppos. I'm up to Episode 3 and will probably start right back at the beginning once I get done. Love it.

How accurate this production is depends on whom you're asking but it's always fun to get new perspectives. Grain of salt.
